Archive policy

ASRI. Journal of Research in Art and Digital Humanities guarantees permanent access to published material (Digital Objects) through its servers and offers the following solutions:

• Local backup copies at the university's computer facilities of the journal's OJS web hosting
• Deposit of metadata for long-term conservation in repositories and external services: Hosting of complete articles in Dialnet, Sherpa Romeo, Dulcinea, ZENODO, OPENAIR and REDIB (Ibero-American Network of Innovation and Scientific Knowledge).
  
• Use of Digital Preservation Metadata, Dublin Core; MARC; MARC21; RFC1807
• Use of an OJS (Open Journal Systems) editorial manager in version 3.3.0.6, (Open Archive Initiative-Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) which allows interoperability protocols between different platforms and repositories by exchanging metadata.
• Digital preservation services: Use of the LOCKSS system to authorize the preservation in third party servers through a file distributed among the libraries to create permanent files of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.
• Technical support from the company Proeditio (Dialnet Foundation) that ensures the proper functioning of the OJS system, as well as the installation of new software versions.

The files published on this website are available in easily reproducible formats on mobile devices as well as on desktop computers and tablets as we offer a wide range of file types such as PDF, EPUB and HTML files.

Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC) maintains a digital preservation and updating policy that is continuously reviewed both in its publications service and in the free knowledge office.
