Errata Policy

Articles published in the journal must remain unchanged after they have passed the entire editorial process, including blind peer review and style editing. However, there may be exceptional causes that force the journal to correct it, withdraw it or even eliminate it. In this case, the changes will always be made under the coordination of the directors and editors of the journal and, if necessary, with the approval of the advisory council, taking into account the basic rules indicated in the Declaration of Ethnics and Misconduct Practices in the Scientific Publication of the URJC.

Articles published in the journal must remain unchanged after they have passed the entire editorial process, including blind peer review and style editing. However, there may be exceptional causes that force the journal to correct it, withdraw it, or even eliminate it.

1. Errata

• The notice of the errata produced by the journal will be published clearly.
• The article will be published again and a notice of the subsequent changes that have been made, assigning a new DOI.

2. Corrections

• Notice of the correction produced by the journal authors will be published clearly. Said correction can only be carried out if it affects the integrity and honorability of the authors.
• The article will be published with the subsequent changes that have been made, assigning a new DOI.

3. Retractions

A note will be published by the journal clarifying the circumstances for which information has been published that has subsequently been found to be incorrect. It will be done clearly and in the final part of the article under the following circumstances:

• If the investigation is the result of copying an existing work, even though the anti-copy program did not detect it in the first instance.
• If the contributions submitted to the issue of the journal have already been published and not communicated to the management of the journal.
• If the data provided is incorrect and shows malpractice at the time of its publication.

The retraction of an article means that:

The editorial team will publish a clarifying note explaining the reasons for said retraction. Said note will be published in a separate document in which reference will be made to the retracted article, assigning it a new DOI.

4. Item removal

We are sure that this measure will be very infrequent and  will only be carried out when:

• There is a court order preventing its publication.
• When the publication of the research involves a serious case of defamation, of concealment of data that puts the health of the authorship at risk, of the people who make up the editorial team or of third parties who may be implicated by the information published in the journal.
• When the legal rights established by current legislation are infringed.
