Authorship Policy

Definition of Authorship

Authorship is considered the responsible person who has taken part in the idea and concept, in the methodology and development of the research, in the results, in the conclusions, and in the subsequent corrections (if any) of an article that is published. in ASRI magazine.

Although ASRI Journal does not believe or defend hierarchies in research, since it understands that all people play an important role in achieving the goals of research work, it advises reviewing the guidelines established by the CRediT taxonomy (Contributor Roles Taxonomy). These reports can help organize the participation of each authorship in a more orderly manner and avoid ghost authorship.

The opinions expressed in the articles are exclusively those of the authors, and none of the editorial team is responsible.

The authors declare that the submitted articles are unpublished and have not been published in any other electronic or paper media and must have all the necessary permissions for the use of images and graphics before being published by the ASRI journal.

To avoid confusion in the attribution of authorship due to name coincidences, ASRI journal requests your ORCID number. If you do not have it, we recommend registering on the platform.

Authors’ Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any circumstances that could influence their work, whether financial (such as employment, consulting fees, stock ownership, royalties, or patents) or personal (friendships, academic rivalries, ideological, political, or religious beliefs, etc.). These financial or non-financial relationships must be declared at the time of manuscript submission. The aim is not to prevent publication, but to ensure transparency so that readers can assess any potential bias. At the end of each article, a statement on conflicts of interest will be included. If none exist, the note will read “None.”

Changes in Authorship

Any change in authorship—whether it involves the addition, removal, or reordering of names—must be requested before the final acceptance of the manuscript and requires the approval of the editor of ASRI journal.

To process this request, the corresponding author must submit the following to the editor or editorial board:

  • A detailed justification explaining the reason for the proposed change in the authorship list.

  • Written confirmation from all co-authors expressing their agreement with the proposed modification. In cases of addition or removal of an author, a statement of consent from the individual directly affected must also be included.

Once the manuscript has been accepted, changes in authorship will only be considered under exceptional and well-justified circumstances. To avoid interfering with the editorial process, the publication of the article will be temporarily suspended while the request is being evaluated. If the article has already been published online, any approved changes will be reflected in a correction notice.
