The installation has taken shape as a work of hybrid artistic expression, a diverse format for creation and dissemination in which the boundaries between different artistic disciplines are blurred. In arts education, it is used as a playful pedagogical activity as well as an artistic practice with a flexible and collaborative approach for its participants. I analyse similar previous educational proposals, design and propose two educational experiences from two different academic years: from 2019 to 2020 and from 2023 to 2024, carried out by students of the Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. The practice consisted of designing and building models and installations for children. I explain how, in the educational context, they are a valuable pedagogical tool for future teachers at this stage of their university studies. The methodology applied was constructivist, in which the student was the protagonist of this teaching-learning process, building the practical experience based on reflection on the educational proposals, participatory dialogue and encouraging interaction with the designed pieces. The results confirm the educational value of these experiences, enabling new future avenues of research based on digital creations such as 3D digital modelling.Downloads
